2G Voice Service Signaling Procedure

Built on a common BBU and RRU architecture, the 2G+4G dual-mode base station enables 2G and 4G to operate on the same platform. It can be configured to meet specific coverage, capacity, and spectrum requirements, making it suitable for legacy network replacement, voice coverage, and 4G broadband services.

High Capacity and All-IP Networking

Designed for carrier-grade deployments, the solution supports up to 6,000 TRXs per cluster and more than 500 BTS sites. All-IP transport simplifies large-scale deployment, legacy network replacement, and centralized O&M.

Complete Service Support

The solution supports FR, HR, EFR, and AMR voice codecs, as well as full-rate and half-rate traffic channels. GPRS/EDGE support enables voice, SMS, and packet data services on the same network.

Multi-Band Support and Flexible Radio Configuration

The solution supports GSM 900 MHz and DCS 1800 MHz, with up to 12 TRXs per site. Radio resources can be configured according to local coverage and capacity requirements.

Unified Platform for Multi-Standard Evolution

The common BBU and RRU architecture enables 2G and 4G resource sharing and service coordination, including cell reselection, voice fallback, and data switching. Existing 4G base stations can be upgraded remotely to support 2G and 5G, extending network capabilities while protecting existing investments.
