NTN Satellite-based BS Global Interconnection Platform
With the rapid development of China's satellite communication industry, the integration of space and ground communication has become a trend. The platform has completed the independent research and development of core technologies such as load system software, satellite terminal software, twin modeling platform, semi physical simulation verification platform, and realized the autonomous control of the core software of the whole stack communication of satellite Internet. In blind spots of cellular network coverage such as vast oceans, remote suburbs, and earthquake disasters, there is no need to rely on ground base stations anymore. XLink™ 4+5G Distributed Base Station consists of BBU and indoor/outdoor RRU, supports 6x4G cells and 6 5G cells simultaneously, achieving 400 users per 4G cell and 1200 users per 5G cell. 5G positioning solution based on Intel®architecture
SageRAN, together with Intel and East China Normal University, has jointly launched a 5G positioning solution based on Intel®architecture, relies on the SageRAN’s extended small base station, which includes a baseband unit (BBU), an extension unit (EU), and a radio frequency unit (RRU). The extended small base station adopts Intel technology ®Xeon® processor and Intel ®FlexRAN architecture server, combined with the 5G based multi-dimensional information fusion fingerprint positioning algorithm developed by East China Normal University and the estimation distance ratio positioning algorithm based on Difference of Reference Signal Strength (DRSS) measurement values, significantly improves the performance of positioning algorithm processing and achieves accurate and fast target positioning.
