5G Core Network

SageRAN`s Light 5GC follows the 3GPP technical specifications and supports both Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) architectures. It adopts new ICT technologies and a service-oriented architecture that splits network element functions into finely-grained network service function nodes, completely changing the traditional core network that mainly relies on point-to-point signaling control, and tightly-coupled closed equipment form with various services. It has evolved into a software-based functional form of a fully micro-service architecture, where distributed network functions replace hierarchical nodes of the past.
